Overview: Orange essential oil, commonly referred as Sweet Orange Essential Oil, is extracted mostly from the peel of the sweet orange Citrus sinensis. Orange essential oil is extracted by cold pressing method, which uses pressure to squeeze the oils from the peel. The cold-pressing protects the oil’s anti-oxidants and active ingredients from being destroyed by heat during steam distillation. Unlike most essential oils, the orange oil is majorly extracted as a by-product of orange juice production. Hence, it is probably the cheapest oil however one of the most consumed in our industry. Brazil is the largest producer of oranges in the world making it the largest producer of orange oil. Unlike our other products, this is more of a commodity for us but we have arrangements for bulk supply of Orange oil at a very competitive pricing. We supply Brazilian origin orange oil.

Common use: Orange essential oil is widely used in the production of soaps, body wash, perfumes and domestic cleaning materials. In China, Oranges are believed to symbolise good fortune and thus they continue to be a significant feature of the traditional medicinal practices. Orange essential oil is used topically, for maintaining the appearance and texture of skin by reducing the signs of acne and similar skin conditions. Orange essential oil is used in massage oils to relieve discomforts from menstruation, headaches and inflammation. It can be used as an alternative for traditional fumigation and also can be used as a biological pest control. Orange oil is approved in several countries to be used as an ingredient in pest control.
