Exciting the mind with Fragrance

The story of aromatherapy begins over 3500 years BC. The term Aromatherapy was later invented by the French Chemist Rene-Maurice Gattefauce in 1935. Gattefauce treated his body for burns with lavender essential oil. Thus the therapeutic uses of Lavender essential oil were claimed and recorded by him.

In the year 1887, Charles Chamberland, assistant of famous Scientist Louis Pasteur began a scientific analysis of antiseptic effects of clove, oregano, and cinnamon essential oil.

Its believed that the scent of aromatic oil might influence your mind in a positive way. When inhaled, the aromatic oil molecule can travel directly through the olfactory nerves to the brain. This may impact the amygdala, the emotional center of the brain. When used in a proper way, the essential oil can also may help with healthy skin as it can be absorbed by the skin directly.
