100% PURE THERAPEUTIC GRADE ESSENTIAL OIL
GC/MS batch-tested to ensure quality, safety and effectiveness
Overview: Cedarwood Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation of the wood of Cedrus Atlantica. Cedar is a tree from the pine family. There are many types of cedar woods which are used to make essential oils, the mostly used ones are Cedar Atlas (Cedrus Atlantica) and the Himalayan (Cedrus Deodara). The wood is famous for its use in the making of shoes as it can absorb moisture and deodorise. The wood we use for the production of oil is exclusively from Morocco. The oil is directly used in the fragrance industry and is also used to derive chemical isolates. Cedarwood essential oil is in the range of affordable oils but considering the precious properties behind it, we wonder why it is not that costly. We supply the Moroccan origin Cedarwood Oil packed and tested in Grasse, France.

Common use: Cedarwood Atlas essential oil has a woody, aromatic, sweet and strong balsamic scent makes it one of the sought-after choices in aromatherapy to provide a comforting and sedative atmosphere. Cedarwood essential oil is used as a base note in perfumes and gives a backbone to the citrusy notes. The masculine odour makes it a choice for men’s aftershave and perhaps that odour profile may be the reason behind its reputation as an aphrodisiac. Cedarwood essential oil is used in skincare applications to soothe irritations, itchiness, inflammations and to prevent cracking and blistering (no citations available). The oil is used to remove excess oil and dandruff from the scalp. It is also used in the manufacturing of soaps, household sprays, insecticides, and also as a natural repellent of moths. The Cedarwood itself is used as incense and no need to emphasise that cedarwood essential oil is a beautiful choice in diffusers.
