100% PURE THERAPEUTIC GRADE ESSENTIAL OIL
GC/MS batch-tested to ensure quality, safety and effectiveness
Overview: Chamomile Roman essential oil is produced by steam distillation of the flowers and leaves of Anthemis Nobilis. The Roman chamomile is significantly grown in England, USA, France, and North Italy. Even though a number of other countries tried to produce it, the quality wise results were quite disappointing. Chamomile plant is reproduced by cuttings in October, harvested and steam distilled in July. The world production is 5,000 kg of oil. Italy alone produces 1800 kg. The fact that our partner MPE has their own facilities in Moretta in North Italy allows them to grow 25 hectares and distil about 600 kg of oil which represent 30% of the entire local production of the Pô source area. Yields are between 15 and 18 kg of oil per hectare. The plant is cut with a rotor and automatically sent in the mobile steam distillation unit. 1,000 kg of flowers /leaves give 3 to 4 kg of oil. One hectare yields about 4 to 5 tons of flowers/leaves. We supply Chamomile Roman essential oil of Italian origin, tested and packed in Grasse, France.
