Overview: Eucalyptus globulus essential oil is produced by steam distillation of leaves and branches of Eucalyptus Globulus tree. When we talk about Eucalyptus, we mostly associate it with Australia as many types of eucalyptus trees are endemic to Australia. However, when it comes to commercial production of pharmaceutical range eucalyptus globulus essential oil, China handles the majority of the business. The quality of eucalyptus oil is decided by the content of cineole in it. The cineole content varies in different types of species between 45 and 95% however the industry has standardised it to 80%. Rectification is done in order to standardise the cineole content. We provide the Chinese origin eucalyptus globulus essential oil, tested, packed in France in compliance with European Pharmacopoeia. This oil is a natural product according to Council Directive 1334/2008 EEC

Common use: Eucalyptus globulus essential oil 80/85 being a pharmaceutical grade one with a standardised content of cineole, it is regarded as the most effective type of eucalyptus oil. Eucalyptus globulus essential oil is generally used as a chest rub because of its decongestant properties. It helps open up the airways and gives a cooling effect.
