100% PURE THERAPEUTIC GRADE ESSENTIAL OIL
GC/MS batch-tested to ensure quality, safety and effectiveness
Overview: Juniper Berry essential oil is produced from the berries of the shrub Juniperus communis. Though it is called a berry, it is actually not a true berry but a cone with a fleshy scale which gives it the appearance of a berry. The juniper berries look very similar to black pepper and are known to be used for adulterating black pepper. Juniper berry is the only conifer spice other than spruce buds and is widely used in Scandinavian cuisine. Some of the juniper berry varieties were found in the ancient Egyptian tombs including the tomb of Tutankhamun though it is not known to grow in Egypt. However, this may have come from Greece where it was recorded to be used as a medicine. Juniper berry oil is produced by the steam distillation of berries, and the yield is less than 2%. Reconstituted oils are often sold as original and hence choose a reliable supplier and ask for the GC report. We supply three grades of Juniper berry essential oils the Indian origin, Albanian and the Austrian with the first one being an economical option.
