100% PURE THERAPEUTIC GRADE ESSENTIAL OIL
GC/MS batch-tested to ensure quality, safety and effectiveness
Overview: The Bulgarian Lavender is nothing but the Lavandula angustifolia Mill grown in Bulgaria. There will be some slight differences in the features when compared to the French origin as lavender quality is highly dependent on the location it is grown. The French lavender oil is considered to have a floral, fruity, camphoraceous odour with an aromatic liquorice type top note however the Bulgarian oil is floral and fruity, but less fresh with a slightly harsh grassy top note. Bulgarian lavender oil is a cost-effective alternative of French origin due to the cheaper labour cost in Bulgaria. Bulgaria is the largest manufacturer of Lavender oil in the world. Earlier France was ruling the Lavender oil business, but in recent years Bulgaria has overtaken France in becoming the world’s largest producer of Lavender Oil producing 100MT-130MT within a year.
Someone creating a fine fragrance would recommend the French origin but for customers making hand wash, or cost effective cosmetics, this is a perfect choice as there will be a big difference in the cost. We supply Bulgarian origin Lavender oil tested and packed in France.
