100% PURE THERAPEUTIC GRADE ESSENTIAL OIL
GC/MS batch-tested to ensure quality, safety and effectiveness
Overview: Lemon essential oil is obtained by cold expression of the fruit peels of Citrus limon. An approximation of a thousand lemons is required to produce 500 grams of lemon oil. Lemon is also known by the nickname âliquid sunshineâ due to its vibrant colour or maybe because of the ability to purify and the amount of energy it provides. The origin of lemon is not clear but it is believed to have originated in north east India or China. During the time of ancient Rome, the lemon entered Italy. India is the largest producer of lemon followed by some South American countries and China. However Italian origin lemon essential oil is regarded as the most suited one in aromatherapy applications though there are no scientific reasons. Perhaps due to its use to treat infectious disease by the ancient Romans led to this belief. We majorly supply the Italian origin lemon essential oil but can supply other origins like Spain, Ivory Coast and Argentina. This product is compliant to European Pharmacopoeia and flavouring preparation, according to Council Directive 1334/2008 EEC.
