THERAPEUTIC GRADE ESSENTIAL OIL

GC/MS batch-tested to ensure quality, safety and effectiveness

Overview: Myrrh oil is obtained by steam distillation of the gum of Commiphora Myrrha Nees. The Myrrh resin has been used for medicinal, perfumery purposes and religious practices since ancient times. The resin is produced by mechanical incision on the trunks of the trees. The gum is yellowish and darkens deeply when it ages. The tree is native to Somalia, Yemen, Oman, and parts of Saudi but Somalia contributes maximum resins for the production of Myrrh oil.
Note: Many sellers list Myrrh oil as a 100% natural product. However to the best of our knowledge, this product due to technical reasons, must be recovered on hexane after distillation, residual traces in the finished products are unavoidable. Myrrh oil we supply is produced in Italy by using the resins procured from Somalia.
