Majority of our essential oils and absolutes come from the perfume capital of the world, Grasse, France produced by MPE (Matières Premières Essentielles). The oils are tested in the warehouse in Grasse and are produced under strict EU guidelines.
The Indian origin range of oils are manufactured, and lab tested in the factory in Kochi, Kerala, owned by TMV, our JV partner.
A Symphony of Scents: Aromatic Elixirs and Fragrant Extracts
Majority of our Essential Oils are 100% pure and natural essential oils produced mostly by steam distillation or pressing. Essential oils are nothing, but the volatile chemical compounds extracted from the plants or its parts. The most common mode of extraction is by steam distillation, but the citrus peel oils are expressed mechanically or cold pressed.
For some plants, florals in particular, distillation is not a suitable method for extracting the essential oils. In that case they are extracted using an organic solvent to yield a concrete which is semi solid in nature. The concrete is then extracted, and the final yield is called an absolute. Absolutes are concentrated and highly aromatic. We supply absolutes as well as concrete.
