Overview: Vetiver Essential Oil is also referred to as the “Oil of Tranquillity” and “The Fragrance of the Soil” due to its grounding, sensuous, and deeply calming scent. Vetiver oil is derived from the aromatic roots of the Vetiveria zizanioides (Linn) Nash. Vetiver belongs to the Grass family and is sometimes referred to as Vetivert and Khus. Since the Middle Ages, Vetiver Essential Oil was most commonly used in scents. Due to Its deep and woody aroma, vetiver oil was used as a main ingredient in men’s fragrances. Vetiver oil is part of the perfumes of major brands. Vetiver oil contains more than 100 sesquiterpene compounds and their derivatives. When it ages, the earthy scent in the oil intensifies. Vetiver is native to India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia but is also cultivated in other tropical regions around the world, including Guatemala, Haiti, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, China, and Australia. However, Haiti and India contribute the maximum to the production of essential oil. We supply Indian origin as well as Haiti origin based on customer choice.
